someone done this not that long ago. cant remember who though. think it was a phase 3 gti6 plugged in phase 2 derv dash clocks and pickup and you are away

Ph2 loom from under the wiper motor right to the engine, ph2 dt clocks, diesel filler neck, diesel fuel line (in only) and in tamk pump job done

nope, you dont change that bit either, you only need to change the engine loom.

Wrong you have trouble getting the revs to work hence changing the loom from chassis leg to wiper motor to cure it i did it to a ph3 nile gti6

not wrong, i have a ph3 gti6 engine in a zx, I only changed the engine loom and the plug on the end of it.
i also put a v6 into a rallye, same again, changed the plugs on the end of the loom to suit.

Yeah essentially. Also need the tank pickup you dont want to run the lift pump.
