Is there anyone out there that has an unused, original clutch plate lying around? I need to find out the thickness of it to send to my clutch refurb guy since his database doesn't cover this specific clutch
Is the same clutch maybe used on other models that his db might have info on?

Be aware that it is usually the release bearing / release plate 'finger' springs that fails in the GTi6 clutch rather than the plate. You'd be better off buying a whole unit than just fitting a new plate. They are available new from Peugeot in the UK for around £120 or so.
I'd be happy to buy one and send it to you if it helps? Or you can contact Warners Peugeot Tewkesbury on +44 1684 297575 and they ship parts.
