306gti6 clutch friction plate thickness? - Janne L - 23-04-2015 Is there anyone out there that has an unused, original clutch plate lying around? I need to find out the thickness of it to send to my clutch refurb guy since his database doesn't cover this specific clutch Is the same clutch maybe used on other models that his db might have info on? RE: 306gti6 clutch friction plate thickness? - welshpug - 23-04-2015 j4r, xud9te. 306gti6 clutch friction plate thickness? - Janne L - 04-05-2015 Bump! RE: 306gti6 clutch friction plate thickness? - welshpug - 04-05-2015 buy new , not expensive! like I said, j4 , j4r and xud9te used much the same unit with small differences RE: 306gti6 clutch friction plate thickness? - adam b - 04-05-2015 Be aware that it is usually the release bearing / release plate 'finger' springs that fails in the GTi6 clutch rather than the plate. You'd be better off buying a whole unit than just fitting a new plate. They are available new from Peugeot in the UK for around £120 or so. I'd be happy to buy one and send it to you if it helps? Or you can contact Warners Peugeot Tewkesbury on +44 1684 297575 and they ship parts. |
