Setup is a
XUD9sd with a modified K04 at 1.25bars peak boost. (Turbo Dynamics build it to be max 1.5bar)
Bosch 175bar injectors. (New, less then 5000km on them)
My 9mm Bosch is "fuel screw" maxed, till it has idle problems, and then backed off a bit.
Lda mod, but not governor.
No Smoke! there is a bit, but only coming off a gear.
In general it runs great.
But am hitting EGT's of 700-800c with a quick blast through the gears.
I think the issue is Timing, as I've got the screw maxed and therefore my injection length is too long, cause the 9mm can't open the 175 injectors soon enough.
My thought are getting a 11-12mm head for the bosch, and reducing the fuel screw to reduce timing... Thoughts?

Its seems hot to me, for a motor thats not smoking at all.
If I'm not even pushing enough fuel to make it smoke, why the 800C EGT than?

a maxed Bosch is plenty of fuel mate believe me, i guess you've just got the boost to burn it . . .

What intercooling have you got? Stock intercooler?
I'd guess that the inlet temps are very high, and you're wanting more advance... I would also guess that the turbine wheel on that is quite small, causing reasonable backpressure and not allowing gas out fast enough - 700*C is acceptable, 800*C is on the limit for prolonged use...
