They are all intermittent so i would clear them and see if they return. The ECU latches on to faults so they could be years old!

Wow, and it still runs and drives fine!?
Did you clear all faults and see which ones come back? Some could be really old.

Is that with the car running or the key in the second position?

Odd. Sometimes they will throw a hissy fit when its not running. Could be a dodgy lead?

i would say low or leaky electricity
number 1: is the engine speed jumping around, so say you are doing 30mph and the crank senser conection dropes out that would mean the computer registers 30mph with the engine doing 0rpm number 2: is the crank or cam senser, timing or cabels are faultey number 3: thers a switch that registers when the clutch is deprest number 4: the computer is not regstring the air flow it exspects to see for the rpm the engine its at number 5: there is a short circuit to ground on the egr circuit (un plug the vac pipe) number 6: so the computer has registerd ther is a lack of presher on the high presher side of the fuel curket so from the pump to the injectors( normaley the fpr) number 7: i would say the last to are the same fault at work so a wireing fault to the low presher pump what is the fault you are having ?

When you first connect the laptop to the car, select 306 then it asks you for a 4 digit code from a sticker on the car (ph3, probably on the N/S strut). Thats your RPO

Ph3 is usually in the door shut in my experience...

Ah ok it should get the age details it needs from the VIN so i don't know why it won't work!

Also, it should just ask for the build code straight away, I've never put a whole VIN in.
Edit - I can't keep up in here.

dam is the same as rp number, I think rp is the citroen phrase for it
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

Yeah it asks for the vin then the dam, I have lexia 3 and pp2000 on diagbox

The four digit code doesn't make any difference if you can clear codes, I guess this normally as it's only required on fancy models with extra computers, but you don't have that on a 306. What is important is that you're selecting RHY EDC15C2.
You need the ignition on two clicks without the engine running to clear codes. I've had communication errors before and they were due to very flat batteries. Try charging the battery or putting jumpers on whilst you're connected to it. Once you've cleared the codes, go for a drive and read them again and then we can advise what you need to do. |
