Why? I'd be surprised if you'd managed to break it.
It could also be a K03 on that reg.

They're all covered in oil...
Doesn't mean its broken. Probably just the silicone pipe come loose on there and spraying breather oil about.

Nah you cant really get to it, but that's most likely the problem lol. Even though it feels tight, the boost can leak out around the edges, you could spray some soapy water on the join, get someone to rev it som you've got boost, and watch for bubbles occurring.
Just so you know, removing/changing a turbo on these is a complete pain, its easier to remove the engine tbh!

I might just leave it tbh, like you said yesterday its probably the egr causing the black smoke, its only when I get above 3500k revs it starts throwing out black smoke
