Ok so I have rebuilt my bosch pump about 6 times nw with a 11mm transit head and gov mod and lda pin ground any way every time I put it in the car is all smoke and goin no where till about 3rpm wen turbo kicks in . Its hard to start in the moring and wen driven the car there is a heavy knock cumin out of the pump striped it down so many time nw it could all most strip its self down lol I cant see any thing wrong with it . I had it stiped right down with shaft out and greased very thing still no joy replaced rollers and still no joy lol so now im lost help would be brill guys plz :-) lol

Goin to try and fix my pump one more time to night if nt im goin to need a good pump. Wen putting the 11mm head on do u use the transit cam plate or the 306 one I used the 306 one is this right :-)

Lol wel piggy .......... I have the pump out of it again nw bt if ts still maken the noise wen I build it up this time I will take a video . Im still running the sprinter turbo . See the Bosch pump I had in it f.ck up goin to a car show so I used all the bits out of that ecu controled pump to fix the one that stoped on me and then put the transit head on the ecu controled pump was workin fine bt it was just the wrong pump so dont no were to go no lol can u help...... :-) also do u no wat cam plate to use lol plz

just read on another thread which says use the 306 camplate
are you also using the 306 delivery valves too

Mine knocked before 10mm fuel lines and if its on 100% veg.
Whats your tank strainer/fuel lines/fuel filter like?
Does the knocking go away if you gently prime the primer bulb?

No piggy primer makes no differents it sound fine at 1000rpm on tick over its just wen its goin throw the reve range the knock cums in . Ye think tank and all is ok

Sounds like fuel knock, not pump knock. Perhaps too advanced??

Did you say its an ecu controlled pump? Surely this would be an issue

No I used parts from a ecu controled pump I had lyin about lol to fix my broken pump :-)
mcglynn do u no any one round ur way with a bosch pump for sale

No unfortunately not lad.
Not sure what it would be im not clued up on the XUD side of things, so cant be of help im afraid.

Ok so there is still a knockin nose cumin from my pump or engine was goun to take the Bosch pump out and put it in to a car that I no the engine is good to see if nose is gone but the engine I have has a Lucas pump can I swap the punp over to bosch with out swaping the bracket and pully I no ur not meant to bt its just so I can test the pump then take it back out again plz some one help lol :-)

Pulleys are different. Bracket is same if you move the mounting bolts into the other holes on the bracket
