got a very slight oil leak on vacuum end off the head swaped the seal still leaking the odd drip is there a seal on camshaft on that end ? cheers

Have you got a pic of the pump? if they are the same design as the GTi ones, i always found keeping a new seal on there and running a bead of sealant around the outer edge of the pump where it meets the face of the head works.

Theres two o rings I had to fit a vacuum pump to the xantia engine when I fitted it, just used 2 new seals and seemed to be fine.

Pain in the arse ive had a few new seals on it and some gasket sealant and it still leaks.
Ive given up to be honest. |
