As said this is not for a 306 but a 1.1 saxo still a TU engine so i hope you guys can help. I am use to working on the XU petrol and diesel engines but never a TU.
My question is where is the oil filter located is it on the right hand side of the exhaust manifold? there is a black plastic bottle is the oil filter located there? If so how do you undo it as i dont want to break it.
I will go out and get a pic of what i mean

Use a socket if you can, it's only plastic so it could snap

Ok then ill give it a go gotta swap the oil filter now as i got the other sort lol. Thanks for the replys guys

These things dont snap, They come off real easy..

22mm spanner or socket. I use a nice long extension so can undo with your hand out of the engine bay.
Make sure when you get a new filter you get an paper one, not a screw on.
I've re-located a fair few of these now / converted to normal filter.
