not a 306 but a saxo - aggyj17 - 10-03-2012

As said this is not for a 306 but a 1.1 saxo still a TU engine so i hope you guys can help. I am use to working on the XU petrol and diesel engines but never a TU.
My question is where is the oil filter located is it on the right hand side of the exhaust manifold? there is a black plastic bottle is the oil filter located there? If so how do you undo it as i dont want to break it.
I will go out and get a pic of what i mean

thanks

Screw fit. Pair of mole grips and mash it up if needs be

Use a socket if you can, it's only plastic so it could snap

22mm spanner or socket. I use a nice long extension so can undo with your hand out of the engine bay.

Make sure when you get a new filter you get an paper one, not a screw on.

I've re-located a fair few of these now / converted to normal filter.
