hey any one know why someone had cut off the break wear sensors from my car, is this a common fault etc or was someone being huge donkey cock.......
oh also has anyone got a pic of wear the wire comes through the wheel arch, i cant find the connector or any old bit of cut wire....

You've answered your own question.
Wear sensors are a bag of shit and you won't really miss them. The previous owner probably realised they don't work a long time ago and ripped them out.

As far as i remember, HDi didn't use them anyway.
I presume by removed them you mean cut the sensors off the pads? In which case this is why!

Only 306 i've seen with pad sensors was my brother's N reg. XUD sedan. I just chop the wires off new pads before fitting.

GTi6s had them, but other than that as you say i've rarely seen them.

cool cheers, i went to change my pads today, thinking i had standard brakes.....turns out i have gti6 calipers......which explains the sensors on the pads and not the car lol.......cheers all

I had the same, my hdi does not have the wear sensors but when i went to gsf the pads listed for my car had the wires on for the wear sensors on, so i just cut them off as far as i know thats what most people do.
