Hi there all, a bit lost for an answer here. If the car has been been standing for a while, or left over night most days when you turn the wheel without moving or moving out of a parking space it clunks really bad. After that its fine while driving. Anyone got any ideas what this could be, as both track rod ends are tight... any ideas?
Thanks

jack it up so front wheels are off the floor, push the wheel on each side left to right, top to bottom to check for movement, check strut mounts for rust, check all bushes for play, rotate wheels and check for grinding/play in the bearings.
thats a good place to start when trying to locate phantom knocks
