Post: RE: Mi16 cam covers on Gti6 Engine

Did some furthur research... The cam covers I want are found on XU9J4 AND XU10J4 heads. XU10J4R and the XU10JRS (Gti6) heads are different, and hence wont fit :( Some Maxis used the XU10J4RS heads,...

The S16 engine is an XU10J4R isnt it? Not RS or something like that?? Well I like that rocker cover, it looks identical. But the bolt pattern appears to be the same. I dont suppose anyone has both ca...

Too much effort, damn... Are there any aftermarket options for rocker covers in this sorta style? I really like the 16V and the line/stripework. Looks really authentic [hr] p.s. I was originally insp...

Will the 1.9 mi16 cam / rocker covers (the 16V with stripes) fit on the GTi6 engine? Asking because they look awesome and 100x better then the boring standard gti6 ones!! Pic: https://encrypt...

Looking forward to it! If you ever end up fitting the jetex, Ide love to hear. I can only find one example on youtube and am really curious to hear how 'quiet' they are!

Indeed. XXR 531's... would have looked nice. Might just stick to the tried and tested Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's. No flush stance fitment but still not a bad wheel imo.

Have found a supplier for Jetex in Australia, a couple hours from me too so thats not too bad. Hopefully they can price up a system. How much is a Jetex worth over in the UK?

Does the S16 have the same motor as the GTi6? The orange one sounds pretty loud, the red one not too bad. I saw a video of a jetex exhaust and it seems fairly quiet.
