bosch pump timing - johnnytsa - 14-01-2013 Hi. How many lockiing points is there in a bosch pulley? Can't get timing belt on after a pump change from lucas? RE: bosch pump timing - londondan86 - 14-01-2013 2 locking points mate, 1 @ 12 o'clock 1 @ 4 o'clock RE: bosch pump timing - johnnytsa - 14-01-2013 Cheers pal! Couldn't get timming belt on after a pump change! RE: bosch pump timing - londondan86 - 14-01-2013 Is the tensioner in its slackest position and locked there. Make sure you put the belt on in this order: water pump, crank idler, pump, cam then tensioner last. This way all the slack is at the tensioner making it easier to get on and less likely for the timing to be out when you have finished. RE: bosch pump timing - johnnytsa - 17-01-2013 Thanks got sorted! RE: bosch pump timing - londondan86 - 17-01-2013 No probs, the rep button is the little + under my sig! ![]() |
