need to get this one sorted out fairly pronto as my existing lambda is buggered to the point of having to run with it unplugged...

Are these the correct sensors? Should I buy the one from Ebay, or does anyone get a sweet discount on them elsewhere that I can take advantage of in return for cuddles and/or a cheeky bum?

I don't trust ECP as far as I can throw them; they've said the part number is 0258003716, but I don't trust the Scot either, who says it's 0258003717...

Different wire lengths iirc. Early GTi's had a longer wire than the later ones. But couldn't tell you the difference from the part numbers. There were definitely two different wire lengths though.

That seems to correspond on the basis of the above links, I was just a bit put off as when I just ebayed that bosch part number it came out with lambdas for smaller engines for the 306 (1.1, 1.6, 1.8, and some 106's, including 1.4 & 1.6 engines). Just didn't want to get one to the wrong spec, and I just know how tragic ECP are at getting the right parts in first time...
