stop light - pugboy - 21-11-2012

Hi all.
I have had a new a/c rad fitted, cold air great.Since then the engine stop light stays illuminated all the time. Engine is ok. runs ok too. Has anyone else had this prob? A code was found and reset, but still the same. Engine is hdi2.0 in 306 2001. Any info please.

Cheers pugboy

RE: stop light - Scott - 28-01-2013

Just for reference in case anyone else finds this fault - the problem relates to an electrical problem where when the 'AC' button is pressed on the dash, the stop light will illuminate on the instrument cluster. I believe this is due to a faulty relay or wiring which makes the ECU think that the car is overheating. If you press the AC button so that it's off, the stop light should go off.
