Leak from Sunroof or Aerial - silverzx - 12-11-2012

Anyone know which it might be?

Am I right in thinking there is a seal under the aerial that could be gone?

When it rains heavily the inside gets quite wet around the light panel.

wip the light out and have a look mate i think there is a rubber seal between the aerial and the roof

Open the sunroof and clear the drains in the corners - they can sometimes get clogged up

Ah lovely, not better to replace the seal or do they perish quite easily? I have silicone if its gonna be just as good..

This.

Its only a couple of Torx screws to get the light unit out, and a 10mm socket/spanner iirc to undo the aerial. Simples.

Edit- - Just realised youve got a sunroof to think about as well. Skim reading ftl. Sad

When mine went I tiger sealed the fucker. Fix it an then leaked a month later. Sorted with about 1/4 of the tube of silicone in the end haha

Lol, think I might reinforce it with a second helping, current weather isn't helping at all!
