Electric Window Reg question - Ben Jay - 02-11-2012 My drivers side window reg has broken. Took it apart yesterday and the pulley/cog doesnt seem to be able to pull the two cables up/down. I also noticed that one cable is a bit fraid. Is this repairable or do i need to replace the whole mechanism? Electric Window Reg question - ash240970 - 02-11-2012 Whole mechanism is the easiest method - bish bash bosh, job jobbed! RE: Electric Window Reg question - Chris - 02-11-2012 All 3dr ones fit 3drs, same goes for 5dr ones. Can do you a 3dr one for £20 at ace? or post it for £27.50 RE: Electric Window Reg question - Ben Jay - 02-11-2012 (02-11-2012, 11:11 AM)Chris Wrote: All 3dr ones fit 3drs, same goes for 5dr ones. i need it asap. bodged a bit of wood with some duct tape in the the door it self to keep it up! how much from pug? Electric Window Reg question - ash240970 - 02-11-2012 Price from Pug = arse ra*e :0 And as said before 3 door fits 3 door and likewise for 5doors but depending on phase the electrical connecting plug varies and some are parts bin specials. A picture of the type of plug you have will benefit your search unless you cut and rejoin the wires which is a 5 min job. |
