Electric Window Reg question - Ben Jay - 02-11-2012

My drivers side window reg has broken. Took it apart yesterday and the pulley/cog doesnt seem to be able to pull the two cables up/down. I also noticed that one cable is a bit fraid.

Is this repairable or do i need to replace the whole mechanism?

thought that was going to be the case. the thing is the motor is fine and the regs ive seen on ebay are lots of money

All 3dr ones fit 3drs, same goes for 5dr ones.

Can do you a 3dr one for £20 at ace? or post it for £27.50

i need it asap. bodged a bit of wood with some duct tape in the the door it self to keep it up! how much from pug?

Price from Pug = arse ra*e :0
And as said before 3 door fits 3 door and likewise for 5doors but depending on phase the electrical connecting plug varies and some are parts bin specials.
A picture of the type of plug you have will benefit your search unless you cut and rejoin the wires which is a 5 min job.
