Hi I've got a pair of new unused 40mm lowering springs for my 306td but didn't fit them. Would they fit your 306? Probably want £25 for then BW RE: lowering springs wanted - Connor - 18-09-2012 (29-08-2012, 08:05 PM)Niall Wrote: I've got a almost new set of 40mm spax springs that will fit a hdi. 35 posted. 1.8 springs might fit... But for the exact reason you took them off your gti, they won't be "right" RE: lowering springs wanted - Midnightclub - 18-09-2012 They'd be more like 50-60mm with the extra weight of the HDi lump over the 1.8 too RE: lowering springs wanted - puglove - 18-09-2012 50-60mm? They will be spit on then RE: lowering springs wanted - Midnightclub - 18-09-2012 50 - 60 yes... the right spring rate.. noooo lol RE: lowering springs wanted - puglove - 18-09-2012 (18-09-2012, 04:26 PM)Midnightclub Wrote: 50 - 60 yes... the right spring rate.. noooo lol minor details, just uprate the ARB lol RE: lowering springs wanted - Niall - 18-09-2012 (18-09-2012, 03:57 PM)Connor Wrote:(29-08-2012, 08:05 PM)Niall Wrote: I've got a almost new set of 40mm spax springs that will fit a hdi. 35 posted. according to spax when i ordered them, them particular springs are for all the dervs, TUs and the 1.8 so should be fine@! RE: lowering springs wanted - Connor - 18-09-2012 Well that's total bollocks, they'll be right for 1 of the engines, but not all of them. Just think a HDi and a tu5 on a set of scales... Just think a HDi and a tu5 on a set of scales... Lol yeah i know weights are different but think how much money they wouldnt make if they made a different spring for every model? probably grouped like that and the rates are based on a average or something like that RE: lowering springs wanted - samass - 19-09-2012 i've got a pair of 40mm spax ones for gti, £35 posted. cant imagine te dw10 and xu10 blocks are too far off in weight?
