seized coilovers 306 hdi - sqweeky - 05-06-2012

I have a set of coilovers on my 306 ph2 and the driverside has seized ,
I've spray releasing spray on it and had a bar on it but its still stuck,
Any over ideas to free it up?

Ph2 HDI? Hmm

Also what part has seized? The adjusters? It doesn't really make much sence.

just gotta keep trying with the spray i guess. Not sure if you could try and wack it and shock it into moving? Or wether you could heat it up?

I did mine today... Loads of spray, cleaned threads with wire brush. One was a little seized to FO Big screwgy and a hammer... Voilah! ;-)

Yeah, as above. Some penetration spray, then a tap/bash (select appropriately) with your implement of choice. Then go over all the threads with either copper crease or chain lube etc Smile
