Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - strictly_perv - 05-06-2012 Ph2 HDI? Also what part has seized? The adjusters? It doesn't really make much sence. Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - sqweeky - 05-06-2012 Yes sorry the adjusters have seized, I can move the lock ring, that still moves .the one closest spring for adjusting the height is. stuck soild Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - Eeyore - 05-06-2012 just gotta keep trying with the spray i guess. Not sure if you could try and wack it and shock it into moving? Or wether you could heat it up? Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - sqweeky - 05-06-2012 Hadn't thought of giving it a whack ,may try it if it stops raining 1day Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - Alee83 - 05-06-2012 I did mine today... Loads of spray, cleaned threads with wire brush. One was a little seized to FO Big screwgy and a hammer... Voilah! ;-) Re: seized coilovers 306 hdi - Curt - 05-06-2012 Yeah, as above. Some penetration spray, then a tap/bash (select appropriately) with your implement of choice. Then go over all the threads with either copper crease or chain lube etc |
