Oil Temp Gauge Help - TommiePuglet - 03-11-2017

Soo Im looking at fitting an oil temp gauge to my HDI i know ill have to modify the sump plug to monitor the temp but does anyone have a guide am looking at either pillar mounting the Gauge or relocating the cig lighter and having it there.

Any help will be valued.

might be a bung on the front of the sump as larger hdi engined vehicles had oil temp.

as for the gauge you could use the one from a gti6.

Dont mind sorting the pillar out as in the end am gonna run a few gauges sooo if i get a 3 pillar gauge holder it will be fine and ill try and find something would you have a clue in the direction of wiring it as wouldn't want to to melt the wire or catch.
