Might be running rich on start up - DeeTurbo - 10-08-2016

Hi all,

I think the '6 might be over fuelling on start up as the exhaust smells a bit when the engine is cold.

I'm not sure if this is a problem as I've not ran a petrol car for almost 20 years.

Is this normal or could this be the reason the previous cat failed?

I've had a look at the plugs and they look good and not showing the usual signs of over fuelling.

It's normal, they do run a bit rich when cold.

Ah, ok.

Thanks Tom.
