Air bag removal - Xsikid - 27-04-2016

help needed! Want to remove the air bag in the dash my my ph2 gti6. Iv got the glove box and I know it's a straight swap but what do I need to do about the air bag light? Cheers

Cully on here does the resistor kits to turn the light off

Can't you just turn the airbag off with the key down by the headlight adjuster?

yes but it brings up another light saying it is disabled Wink

yeh you need fused resistors. And... you can fit a top glove box but you will be missing the metal frame so it will be slightly insecure and a few screws wont grip.

there is no metal frame that I recall, you just use those little metal clips that slot on the holes then the screws go through them, don't know what they're called Smile
