I was going to just solder the 306 connectors on as I couldn't find a 205 one. However , it doesn't seem compatible with the 205 d turbo, I tried using there compatibility function on there page. Although It looks pretty much spot on RE: This flywheel sensor? - andyyy - 08-09-2015 I just bought one and it plugs straight into my 205 loom, I tried soldering the connectors from a 306 one previous and that didn't work for me. I found the part number on service box for my 205 so assume it's correct for 205s. I'll update if I figure out what's wrong RE: This flywheel sensor? - pugtk - 08-09-2015 (08-09-2015, 04:03 PM)andyyy Wrote: I just bought one and it plugs straight into my 205 loom, I tried soldering the connectors from a 306 one previous and that didn't work for me. Is yours an original d turbo or did you fit the d turbo clocks to a base model dash? RE: This flywheel sensor? - andyyy - 08-09-2015 Mine is a gti loom with stdt clocks RE: This flywheel sensor? - pugtk - 09-09-2015 By any chance would you have the part number? Thanks RE: This flywheel sensor? - andyyy - 09-09-2015 I assume it's 616070 as that's how I found that part. You can double check on service box yourself iv forgotten my sign in details and nowhere near my PC to get them. RE: This flywheel sensor? - pugtk - 09-09-2015 Service box? RE: This flywheel sensor? - welshpug - 09-09-2015 google mother trucker! see link in my sig. RE: This flywheel sensor? - andyyy - 29-09-2015 I can confirm that sensor I posted 100% works in a 205 with stdt clocks RE: This flywheel sensor? - pugtk - 02-10-2015 (29-09-2015, 06:28 PM)andyyy Wrote: I can confirm that sensor I posted 100% works in a 205 with stdt clocks Get your clocks working? Ordered ![]() RE: This flywheel sensor? - pugtk - 17-10-2015 So I've the sensor ready for fitting, what gap does it have to be set from the flywheel? Ive the feeler gauge ready to go ![]() Now im just hoping I did refit the 205 flywheel, instead of the 306 one, (wondering if the pickup points are in different locations ) ![]() RE: This flywheel sensor? - andyyy - 17-10-2015 I just pushed it in until it goes no further, ie touching the flywheel. I'm using a 306 flywheel so can't comment, but did use aa 205 sensor bracket thing if you know what I mean.
