RE: Fitting Side Skirts - Frosty - 07-08-2015 When i have re fitted side skirts i have used screws so there easier to take off in the future if need be RE: Fitting Side Skirts - MY95 - 07-08-2015 Cheers Frosty! Just normal screws? They hold it on well enough? RE: Fitting Side Skirts - craig306 - 07-08-2015 self tappers? RE: Fitting Side Skirts - tsotd - 07-08-2015 self tapping screws and some sealent RE: Fitting Side Skirts - Toms306 - 07-08-2015 Plastic rivets won't work down there tbh, could use metal rivets like they did from the factory but screws will be easier and obviously allows you to remove them again if necessary. RE: Fitting Side Skirts - MY95 - 07-08-2015 So can I just use normal M6 screws then? or do you need a washer or bolt on the other side of the skirt? Don't want to take the skirt off and find ive bought the wrong parts RE: Fitting Side Skirts - tsotd - 07-08-2015 you can use washers but you shouldnt need to with self tappers, no need for bolts etc RE: Fitting Side Skirts - MY95 - 07-08-2015 So just self tapping screws is all I need? Yeah screws with little heads on them so they don't show up. Drilled some new smaller holes, they seem to hold well enough |
