Fabric for roof lining - andyyy - 27-05-2015 So this is something I know literally nothing about. I would like to redo the taty roof lining in my 205 I need to know what sort if fabric is used for this and how to apply it , I guess I just use a spray on adhesive like used on carpets ? Wheres the best place to buy the fabric from ? And whether I need to pull off the original grey lining which isn't sagging but since I didn't bother taking it out when I resprayed the car its got fairly covered in red paint Thanks in advance RE: Fabric for roof lining - Iceman299 - 27-05-2015 http://306oc.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=26118 RE: Fabric for roof lining - Eeyore - 27-05-2015 The fabric is less important but the glue is important as any old spray adhesive will sag with heat. RE: Fabric for roof lining - andyyy - 27-05-2015 Thanks for the link don't know how I didn't see it before I'll get some Trimfix and some fabric and give it ago RE: Fabric for roof lining - Adam-m-h - 21-08-2015 (27-05-2015, 05:57 PM)I\m andyyy Wrote: Thanks for the link don't know how I didn't see it before How did you get on with this If youve not done it yet if you can get a mate to help hold the fabric or drawing pins and start at the front around the interior light and work one side front to back half way then do they other side I found it easier I tried starting at the side and ended up pulling it off 2 or 3 times |
