Hey all,

Car is coming up for timing belt soon. Any ball park figures of how much it should cost?

Cheers Smile

Cambelt kit £55 + vat
Water pump £17 + vat
Then factor in coolant/distilled water and labour if you're not doing it yourself but they are fairly easy.

Pretty easy on a HDi...just try not to slip off the crank pulley when rotating the engine and smash your finger into the brake caliper, I have a permanently disfigured nail from that. Sad lol

Couple of hours work for a garage, little more if it's your first time. You'll probably want to change the aux belt at the same time.
