Orange XUD cabby - Jonny81191 - 18-02-2015 Up for sale is my XUD converted cabby.. I was hoping to keep it until at least FCS but my situation has changed and I just can't justify keeping two cars. Pictures first!! [attachment=21706][attachment=21707][attachment=21708][attachment=21709][attachment=21710][attachment=21711][attachment=21712][attachment=21713][attachment=21714][attachment=21715] Spec as follows: XUD9 converted (DVLA notified) 10mm Bosch fuel pump IHI RHF5 turbo Custom 60mm straight through exhaust lowered approx. 40mm 21mm rear torsion bars braided brake lines 307 266mm brakes with Bluestuff NDX (required to clear the wide steels) ATE super blue fluid Cambelt and water pump changed 1,500 miles ago with O.E parts 405 spoiler Tinted rear lights and black masks in VGC Working electric roof Cup holder! Nokia bluetooth hands free, also great for playing moosic MOT until 21st May SORN, buyer would have to tax anyway under the new rules. Mileage of the shell is around 80k, the engine (and clocks) is 147k There's a couple of options with the wheels.. I have a set of 8jx16 steels that I was going to fit for the show season. They've required the 307 brakes to get enough clearance to fit, along with 5mm spacers on the front. The arches just cover the tyre on the rear, and the fronts would be fine with an arch rolling session. The other option would be cyclones and GTi6 front brakes. I'd rather see it sold with the steels on as that's what I intended for the car, and I definitely won't be breaking it. With the wide wheels fitted I'm looking for £1600 ONO, with the Cyclones and GTi6 brakes, £1250 ONO. For £1700 I'll chuck the cyclones in as well with the appropriate wheel bolts. I'm aware the price is steep but it's one of a kind with a LOT of work done to get to this point, and in it's current state would make an awesome summer/show season car. Viewing welcome, location SO50. RE: Orange XUD cabby - Mattcheese31 - 18-02-2015 What kind of power is it putting out fella? ![]() RE: Orange XUD cabby - 1616six - 18-02-2015 Ah bloody hell shit balls. 206 GTI 180? At a rough guess, I'd say 150, but I've made adjustments on the driveway since having it on the road.. The setup should be capable of 160 or so if front mounted. Lol Lovely car this mate but hate to say people just won't pay that for one of these cars anymore despite what has gone into it. £12-1300 is probably more realistic or break it. I think the only thing it wants is a FMIC and a new rear screen as the old one is misty, in the 4-500 miles I drove it it was incredibly well behaved, economical, drove wonderfully and was plenty fast enough for a cabby. I recognise that boost gauge as well... RE: Orange XUD cabby - Jonny81191 - 20-02-2015 It is, still going strong! And yeah, the boost gauge was transferred with the engine. RE: Orange XUD cabby - THE_Liam - 20-02-2015 Good, I'm glad that car proved useful, certainly was to me ![]() RE: Orange XUD cabby - Jonny81191 - 26-02-2015 I've managed to persuade my girlfriend to have this, so it's no longer for sale.
