Ac button mod for fan - shervo - 10-02-2015 Just pulled the plug out by the screen wash bottle and bridged pins 1-3 to do the ac button for fans mod. I saw on the guide that is said to unplug the actual ac compressor aswell, is this necessary? RE: Ac button mod for fan - Piggy - 10-02-2015 Yes. Obviously! Otherwise you are turning your AC pump on! As if anyones AC system has enough gas left to turn on... JTaylor - Not sure about a guide, but you unplug the brown plug on the AC pipe infront of the PAS pump and link two of the pins. This turns the AC button on the dash into a fan switch to manually control the fans. RE: Ac button mod for fan - JTaylor2005 - 10-02-2015 Haha yeah sounds good and tbf makes sense as apparently these cars have rubbish AC haha RE: Ac button mod for fan - shervo - 11-02-2015 Its pins 1 - 3 for high speed and 1 - 2 for low speed RE: Ac button mod for fan - HDi--Power - 11-02-2015 (10-02-2015, 09:32 PM)Toms306 Wrote:(10-02-2015, 01:46 PM)Piggy Wrote: Otherwise you are turning your AC pump on! This mod tricks the system into thinking its full, so will turn on with no lubrication(assuming ac system is empty) |
