Just adjusting them properly should do the job though. RE: imbalance on rear brakes - Piggy - 15-11-2014 How bad the imbalance? imbalance on rear brakes - Frosty - 16-11-2014 Take the drums off as I expect there will be a fair bit of dust in there. Give it all a clean and adjust and then put it back together. And while the drums are off check the wheel cylinders aren't seized RE: imbalance on rear brakes - daddyfixit - 16-11-2014 mine was the same last Saturday, it failed; drums off, de-dust, clean and adjust the auto adjuster up as drum came off too easily------put it on to check if drum spun, decided to loosen the adjuster..............as I pulled drum off the wheel bearing sh*t itself into about 10 pieces !! ordered new bearing & pressed it in, all happy and mot,d now. |
