2.0 hdi 90 blueish smoke under acceleration - jayspug86 - 12-10-2014

hi I was driving normally yesterday when all of a sudden I noticed some blueish smoke from the exhaust which almost goes if driving gently, however if I take the revs up its blowing out a fairbit of blueish smoke.

iv had the rac out and engine runs sweet as a nut with no over heating, and no smoke from cold start, and no smoke idling.

coolant level is fine and oil level full

any ideas??

Likely to be turbo blowing oil through the seals. Whip the boost pipe off and see how much oil is there!

How many miles has it done?

its done 145000 miles mate

Whip the boost hose off and see how much oil is in there. If can get it off, air inlet pipe off too to see if theres much oil there.
I wouldnt reccomend driving it till you find the problem. Could burn the oil and start runnig away
