internal fuel line diameter - randomcaller - 26-08-2014

I need some more fuel line to feed my Bosch pump. What internal diameter line should I get? just swapped my Lucas for a Bosch on my 205 xud and need longer line.

Many thanks
Chris

Pretty sure its 8mm bore.

im pretty sure the standard size is 8mm, but if your thinking of running veg or chasing big power and high rpm you could up size to 10mm. you would have to change the banjo, fuel primer etc to 10mm too

I run 3/8ths on mine, works well enough

Standard feed is 8mm and the return is 6mm

If you are gonna re-pipe the whole car the take off on the tank is just under 10mm so its possible to run 10mm or 3/8ths the whole length of the car which will give you alot more fuel flow and does make a difference even on a 9mm pump.
