Is there a snapring removal tool ? - davie206 - 13-08-2014 What is the best way to get these snaprings out as they have no lugs so normal circlip pliers are no use. I have in the past cut them with a dremel and using a screwdriver to prise out but its easy to leave scores on the drum RE: Is there a snapring removal tool ? - Danny2009 - 13-08-2014 Big socket from other side and tap it out RE: Is there a snapring removal tool ? - davie206 - 13-08-2014 Im talking about the snapring not the bearing mate RE: Is there a snapring removal tool ? - bashbarnard - 13-08-2014 Sharp punch and hammer. One or two good hits will split it. Then re-new RE: Is there a snapring removal tool ? - davie206 - 15-08-2014 Cheers I eventually got it out with sharp chisel, damaged part of the drum where the snapring sits but feck it. Cheers RE: Is there a snapring removal tool ? - bashbarnard - 15-08-2014 Doesnt matter if its a little damaged. |
