Arb bushes. - kentiiboii - 28-07-2014

My arb bushes are f*cked, the arb is knocking its tits off now.
I was saving for some powerflex bushes but its doing my head in.
So just wondering if there's any cheaper upgrades out there.
Obviously I have a gti6 so it's thicker arb.
Thanks in advance.

Tried ringing peugeot and asking for a price on genuine ones?

Re: Arb bushes. - kentiiboii - 28-07-2014

No I hadn't, will give them a call later on cheers.

No problem.
I don't think you'll notice much of a difference fitting 'uprated' ARB bushes, at least from what I recall reading on here or the gti6 forum.

Perhaps someone will correct me though. lmao

Slightly off topic but how easy is it to fit a gti6 ARB? would i need to drop the subframe. Would also be looking to get upgraded bushes.

RE: Arb bushes. - welshpug - 28-07-2014

subframe would need dropping, no I would not recommend fitting a bigger front arb, standard bushes are enough.

RE: Arb bushes. - RetroPug - 28-07-2014

Stiffening the front ARB and not doing anything to the rear roll stiffness will likely increase understeer.

Standard pug bushes it is then cheers lads.
