Fault codes hdi - Hec1872 - 05-07-2014 Got a couple of fault codes coming up on the scanner Anyone any ideas Intermittent faults Additional heating circuit short circuit to positive Flow sensor signal open circuit or short circuit to earth Clutch switch signal consistency with vehicle speed Cheers RE: Fault codes hdi - Poodle - 06-07-2014 The heating circuit is four glowplugs plugged into your coolant, helps warm the car up when you first start it of a day. Fractionally helps with economy and means you have warm air to clear the windscreen quickly, but really not needed. Leaving it as a fault shouldn't cause any problems for you. The flow sensor signal fault is your maf, that'll need replacing. The clutch switch one i'm not sure about and cba to google it myself right now. RE: Fault codes hdi - Hec1872 - 06-07-2014 Thanks mate |
