My passenger window does not run all the way back to the top. On the way down its perfect but it struggles like to hell to come all the way back to the top. it stops about an inch shy to the top of the door. I am thinking the loom? and where abouts is the loom?

Its the motor/wire mechanism that is worn likely.
that or its dislodged off its runners
Need to remove door card and have a good gander
(if you find lots of metal filings around the motor/mechanism, sure sign of failure!)

cheers mate. The door card is off now. i have already replaced the little plastic clip that goes into the seal. So what are the tell tail signs that the mechanism is to blame?

Got a simalar problem my window goes up but wont go down think.it may be becasue i had a dturbo door and a gti 6 dr with diff looms
