Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - C.A.R. - 14-02-2014 Isn't it fun? With access to Servicebox you can really freak the bloke on the phone out. "Hi, yea, I need some parts, I have the part numbers" No disrespect to the bloke at Peugeot who I am waiting for a return call from. It should make their life easier, no? A customer who knows what they want / need and more importantly...what it should cost! Does anyone else find the same? RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - mr_fish - 14-02-2014 I do this, would expect it should help them I tend to just ring up and ask if such part is in stock. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Chris - 14-02-2014 The parts guy I use is spot on, normally just ring up with a list of part nos and everything is at trade price. Also worth asking them to put the item on a 'stock order' as they get the item cheaper from Peugeot and may pass the saving on. Only down side is you won't get it as quickly. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - HDIkyle - 14-02-2014 Send wife in with part numbers and bloke used to ask how she got them lol he don't even ask now just gets the parts RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Chris_90 - 14-02-2014 I went to Peugeot to day with a part number didn't bat an eye lid RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - reckord - 14-02-2014 I freaked out when they said They dont stock wheel caps i need for my ugly smr alloys [LOUDLY CRYING FACE] RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - 306Puggy - 14-02-2014 Yeah this is funny as hell. Thr usual bloke I have got to know is fine with it, but all the others act like I've got access to some top secret company info when I tell them how I know the part numbers/price. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Toms306 - 14-02-2014 I usually go in with part numbers and they seem pleased about it tbh. Shame they never seem to stock what I need though! RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Dum-Dum - 14-02-2014 Yeah the guy in my local dealers is cool with it, he's a 205gti owner so probably lives on service box lol. Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - rocker8742 - 15-02-2014 Usually end up just using service box on their pc to find what I want when I go in lol RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Connor - 15-02-2014 Its funnier going into citroen dealers and ask for parts for a 306. When you tell them 306=xsara/zx. Mind. Blown. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Jonny81191 - 15-02-2014 The worst thing is when a customer gives you a part number, but then asks is it right for their vehicle. I'd rather they didn't bother half the time as they're invariably wrong That said, if they know what they're talking about it makes life much easier! RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - Slam Wagon - 15-02-2014 They dont like it at mine when i dont have a part number. I dont think he likes putting any effort in. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - anto - 15-02-2014 The Peugeot garage in my town is f*cking useless, no stock and no clue. I end just driving 20mins down the road to the Citroen garage where the guy is spot on. He let me pick parts up from his house and even let me drive his GTI6 ! Unfortunately he quit which is a bit of a bummer. RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - c.gerrard - 15-02-2014 I'm pretty sure this sums up the guy at my parts desk: No friends Virgin Lives at home Hardcore gamer Applies too much hair gel Zero education No sense of humour Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - rocker8742 - 15-02-2014 I didn't know you worked on peugeot parts desk Carl RE: Freaking out the Parts Desk at Peugeot... - c.gerrard - 15-02-2014 Now, now, only half of those are relevant to me!
