What is the bare minimum amount of wires i can use to start / run-show revs / stop an XUD engine?

I'm doing a trike build. but these engines are new to me. so bare with Tongue

all other needed electrics will be wired up from new. lights, turns, horn..ect ..ect

This maybe moved to XUD section Tongue

Depends what you want pal. If you want all the instruments to work, water temp rev counter ect

To make it start you need to earth the gearbox, starter wires and a switched live to the pump that's it

RE: XUD Electrics. - Wor Jimmy - 03-02-2014

I need rev. temps and oil light to pass.. i think.

Is it worth just buying a full loom?

RE: XUD Electrics. - Tom - 03-02-2014

Yes because it would be so cheap you could just cut it down. I know i binned a loom last week Sad

RE: XUD Electrics. - Danny2009 - 03-02-2014

Be easier to have a loom got all the right connections then

RE: XUD Electrics. - Wor Jimmy - 03-02-2014

Damn it TOM! I'm sure you just started binning all the items I needed for the shits and giggles. Big Grin

Erm buying XUD loom Big Grin

James I might be able to pick a starter up from a scrappy tomorrow, depending on how smoothly tomorrow goes, as i need an oil line for Piritek to make me an oil line up for new turbo.
