Shit load of smoke - daniel909 - 23-01-2014 Hi everyone I was stuck on the m5 yesterday for about 20mins then my car just started cuffing out shit loads of grey Smoke I have a stage one map and intercooler does anyone have any ideas Thanks Rhys RE: Shit load of smoke - Martin306 - 23-01-2014 Is the tonne of smoke only when using the throttle? Chances are it's probably got a boost leak. Check the usually, jubilee clips, seals etc. Although, greyish smoke is usually unburnt raw diesel in the exhaust, does the car misfire? RE: Shit load of smoke - daniel909 - 23-01-2014 Got no misfire and a small boost leak but that should make the smoke black and was smoking on tickover what sort of psi should I be running ? RE: Shit load of smoke - darrenjlobb - 23-01-2014 Rhys get a video of it and send me / put on here RE: Shit load of smoke - daniel909 - 23-01-2014 Yeah I will try tomorrow as need to try and sort it by Sunday before the long drive back . After I got off the phone to you Darren some man who was behind me came next to me undone his window and said I should pull over because it was dangerous for other road users lol RE: Shit load of smoke - Toms306 - 23-01-2014 Sounds ike what happened on my Golf when the turbo oil seal popped... Couldn't see anything behind through all the whitish grey smoke... RE: Shit load of smoke - Poodle - 23-01-2014 As above, sounds like turbo oil seals. RE: Shit load of smoke - daniel909 - 23-01-2014 How would I check this would I have to take the turbo off ??
