Oil cooler takeoff on rad - HDIkyle - 04-12-2013 Got a new rad phase 1 off a s16 but it don't have the oil cooler outlet the one that points towards the passenger side on the back. Is there anyway around this? Maybe pipe it into the top pipe instead? RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - cully - 04-12-2013 sounds like you need a GTI6 rad RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - HDIkyle - 04-12-2013 Ye so are all s16 fads different ? Might just bond the pipe on RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - cully - 04-12-2013 think the 6 is the only one with the oil cooler take off in the centre left of the rad not sure others even have the oil cooler RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - HDIkyle - 04-12-2013 Dturbo do all ones iv had anyway come like that standard. Might be able to do something tho. Take it off other rad maybe RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - welshpug - 04-12-2013 phase 1 DTurbo rad is similar. Oil cooler takeoff on rad - Sambarker - 05-12-2013 I've got a ph1 nissens rad for a dt RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - darrenjlobb - 05-12-2013 The ph1 DT rad has it. Just T it into the lower rad hose. The engine simply uses the oil cooler as an "extra" feed from "rad" to "water pump" RE: Oil cooler takeoff on rad - HDIkyle - 05-12-2013 Ok cheers so its not a return |
