intercooler piping kits? - LewisG306 - 27-11-2013

Can anyone point me in the right direction towards a decent piping kit that will have nearly all the connectors needed etc. for front mounting my car?

Any links to a previous buy would be awesome , cheers

Most of the universal kits will be fine, the 'medium size' toyosports cooler is perfect for a single pass FMIC.. you need PLENTY of 90 degree bends, silicon and metal. DO NOT get anything bigger than a 2.25" kit because it will just make life more difficult for yourself fitting it, for little to no gain at all.

sweet , ill have a look into it more tonight. so definitely not to go for 2.5'' then? i though the 406/xantia inlets were 2.5''?

*thought

this the one you're referring to then? - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FMIC-FFRONT-MOUNT-TURBO-INTERCOOLER-2-25-TYPE-S-550x140x65MM/140743868336?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D286%26meid%3D2995907473572865898%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D110974880777%26

Don't go near 2.5".

2"-2.25" is ideal.

Xantia inlet is 2.25".

Yeah that cooler you linked is the exact same one i've got, a lot thicker than it looks in the pics but does the job very well and fits find behind the bumper

Meh, it's the sort of thing once you've measured it ten times it kind of gets hard to forget..!

If you have a ph1 radiator I'd be tempted to go 2" and squeeze it around either side.

Otherwise if its 2.25" loop it back and take both around passenger side of radiator.

I might have the couple OEM pipes that came off the xantia...
