Heater matrix, uh oh. - Dean - 19-11-2013 We'll I'm sitting in the car with the engine running waiting for my pal at the airport, temp is on 80c and it's not that warm, there is some heat but not what you would call hot. Think it's time for matrix change? Heater matrix, uh oh. - rocker8742 - 20-11-2013 May just need to bleed the rad? RE: Heater matrix, uh oh. - Eeyore - 20-11-2013 if your feet are wet. Its the matrix! RE: Heater matrix, uh oh. - Tom - 20-11-2013 Doesn't sound like matrix yet. Try bleeding it with a coke bottle on the header tank. You could also get a hose and try reverse flushing it and see if anything comes out. If you start to get steam out your vents or brown water in the footwells then it will be time for a new matrix. RE: Heater matrix, uh oh. - londondan86 - 22-11-2013 When mine went this time last year (antifreeze fail) it leaked out of the a/c drain in the engine bay so no wet footwell or steam from the vents. Although as said yours hopefully just needs a bleed through RE: Heater matrix, uh oh. - r3k1355 - 22-11-2013 Check it's not low/using water first before jumping to conclusions. I swear my heater controls are abit odd, full blast ain't that hot but 3/4 is roasting. |
