clutch pedal switch... - Jimbo - 19-10-2013 What is this switches purpose does anyone no? Most hdi's show up this fault wen codes are read obviously cant be important Cheers james RE: clutch pedal switch... - Toms306 - 19-10-2013 It's so the ECU knows when you dip the clutch to change gear, it tries to the match the revs for a smoother gear change. Not too important tbh. RE: clutch pedal switch... - Jimbo - 19-10-2013 Right o not a bad idea I suppose.cant see it helping all that much anyway cheers RE: clutch pedal switch... - Toms306 - 19-10-2013 Yeah I think it also tries to avoid stalling by chucking a bit more fuel in if you come off the clutch a bit quick when pulling away. You could unplug it and see if theres any noticeable difference but I doubt it. |
