Xud exhaust - Matt - 31-07-2013

I want a straight through on the dt, and I'm getting impatient.

Having a decat - mid box - mid box is straight through right?

Or did I miss something with these backboxmidbox swap around?

Or what's the cheapest way to straight through? Over the counter parts? Welder? Silicon pipes and exhaust?

Also what's the standard width of a dt exhaust?

RE: Xud exhaust - Tom - 31-07-2013

Omg really?

RE: Xud exhaust - Mitch - 31-07-2013

Have a look in my project thread, i had a full straight through exhaust made from the turbo back at AA silencers in Stafford, if your anywhere near there? was only 86 pounds anyway Smile

RE: Xud exhaust - Matt - 31-07-2013

Nah I'm on the Isle of Wight, welders and resources are low. It's a shit tonne harder to get anything done here!

RE: Xud exhaust - samass - 31-07-2013

yep silicone was my idea, mainly cuz that's all i had lying around and couldnt be arsed doing it properly, it was at the back, and its rated to 200 degrees anyway, it worked.

also matt, f*cking fail, exhaust in the interior section? noob

RE: Xud exhaust - Dum-Dum - 31-07-2013

Is your back box the type with the hanger that goes all the way round in squiggles (so you could knock it off in 1 piece)?

If it is get a mid section (on of the xantias has a mid with no box), knock the hangar off the standard box, get a massive jubilee to tie the midsection to the hangar and cut to the appropriate length.

No need for welding or complicated tools.

Also as Samass says; learn to forum noob Smile

It's in interior/exterior and ice, last time I checked, exhaust was exterior.

It's just the backbox really, xantia had a straight through mid? Does it Fit the same as a 306 mid? More or less the same design?

RE: Xud exhaust - Carlos182 - 01-08-2013

405 has a straight through mid AFAIK too.

RE: Xud exhaust - Dum-Dum - 01-08-2013

Its pretty much the same but different. However you could use it to make a straight through back box.
