Lower Engine Mount Fork - Grant - 10-07-2013 So the fork that goes onto the lower engine mount has a rubber bush in. Does anyone make this in billet aluminium? I can't seem to find anything on 't'interwebs. x Have just found this. Cant make out if its aluminium of hard rubber though RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - cwspellowe - 10-07-2013 Quote:• Hard Nylon compound with metal sleeve HTH RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - ConorTRG - 10-07-2013 Wouldn't be hard to get one made up if your in need of one. RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - Grant - 10-07-2013 Alright smartarse! Just 'cos I didnt click the features button lol. Im more after a billet aluminium piece. Does anyone know if ripp makes these of anyone? RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - cwspellowe - 10-07-2013 Can't remember him ever mentioning the fork bushes tbh. Looking at the picture on the kamracing site, i know it says for 306, but the one pictured isn't? The fork bush should be orientated perpendicular to the lower mount arms. Might just be an error with the site though. RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - Grant - 10-07-2013 This is a very valid point that you make... I hadn't noticed that, hopefully the part could be the same diameter etc. therefore fit? But if its rubber I'm not interested. Rubber splits. Metal doesn't lol. RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - Dum-Dum - 10-07-2013 Get one made by an engineering company, anyone with a lathe can do it. Here's the measurements. Outside Length 28 mm Inner Length 34 mm Inner Diameter 12 mm Outer Diameter 30 mm RE: Lower Engine Mount Fork - Grant - 10-07-2013 Chris, you are a lad. Cheers babe x Repped |
