advice required please...do i repair or replace????
my g/f lost the the pin that connects the yoke on the front drivers door to the check strap - the current check strap is fine apart from that.
do i A) buy a complete 2nd hand check strap or B) do i just buy a pin and repair what i currently have?
the pin i found is this one...????
The check strap is obviously more than the price of the above pin posted..

First things first DO NOT BUY THAT PIN!!!!!! Its a f*cking rip off! Theyre >£1 from pug... Secondly, ph1>ph2/3 pins are totally different and yours being a ph1/ph2 bastard child that it is, Id have no idea which strap they used. Ive replaced the ones on my miami before, so I know it can be done for ph1

what's the difference between the ph1 & ph2/3 check straps? the issue i have with MYA is she is 96, registered early 97 but a mixture of ph1&2 parts so buying anything is an episode !!!
