Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - silverzx - 05-02-2012 Just wondering where the best place in the existing standard turbo inlet piping is to remove so I can run no filter. Just after the oil breather next to the battery looks like a good place? Can't see any signs of water/leaves etc getting there? Cheers guys. Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - Harky - 05-02-2012 Any reason for wanting to run no filter? Most people only run no filter when they can't or haven't got round to piping up to a new turbo or to remove restrictive sections? Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - Dan! - 05-02-2012 Just pull it off at the turbo inlet if you must......... Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - silverzx - 05-02-2012 1) My cone filters seen better days. 2) I can't be bothered to put a standard filter box back in. 3) I can't see any affordable decent alternatives. Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - 4WayDiablo - 05-02-2012 As dan said. Just straight off the turbo inlet itself :-) Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - mark_airey - 05-02-2012 turbo inlet, this adds the benefit of removing the restrictive section where it goes around the end out the inlet manifold and brake reservoir/MC and squashes right down! Re: Tramp turbo inlet advice please. ;) - silverzx - 05-02-2012 Cheers lad's! Shall I get rid of the little 2" silicone straight connector too so the turbos completely bare? |
