Too much timing? - SonnyRoby - 31-01-2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VNPKookJRw&feature=youtu.be Soooo, when off boost the pump makes some strange noise. When on boost the sound stops. What could be the problem? Tried retarding the timing a little but does the same. RE: Too much timing? - HDIkyle - 31-01-2013 Simple solution. Always be on boost RE: Too much timing? - Ricky - 31-01-2013 If that's defiantly coming from the pump, I really wouldn't start it again until you sort it. RE: Too much timing? - SonnyRoby - 31-01-2013 It's been doing so since it was rebuild 2 weeks ago. RE: Too much timing? - Tom - 31-01-2013 Sure its the pump? Just sounds like a vibration to me lol RE: Too much timing? - SonnyRoby - 31-01-2013 No no. It's the pump/injectors. When it rev to 2500 you can hear that rattle. RE: Too much timing? - Tom - 31-01-2013 Screwdriver on the pump, ear on the other end and rev, see what you hear Too much timing? - dturbopeck - 03-02-2013 Since u rebuilt the pump? RE: Too much timing? - SonnyRoby - 03-02-2013 New 9mm head, seals, gov mod, grinded lda pin. Too much timing? - dturbopeck - 04-02-2013 Has a spring fell out when u put the head in, I wud remove and have alook in RE: Too much timing? - Dave - 04-02-2013 Lol that sounds epic!! haha love advance like that (although will kill your block long term!!) Does sound like your fuel timing though... knock your pump right back and see if it changes tone - if not it'll be something else. |
