Re: April Club Camping Meet - Poodle - 04-02-2012

Ha, I voted before finding the page with the date on, i'll be right in the middle of moving then so probably not able to make it. Sad

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Dum-Dum - 04-02-2012

Just a thought, I did vote for both but in april surely cornwall will be better as its likely to be slightly warmer and slightly dryer

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Jake - 04-02-2012

Ah, quite a difference then, Could do there and back in 1 tank too Smile Sounding good Smile

Re: April Club Camping Meet - 4WayDiablo - 04-02-2012

well cumbria is just winning, would it be at the aireys place or some campsite?

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Dum-Dum - 04-02-2012

Ive realised i can edit my vote to reflect my above sentiment so im only voting for cornwall and not cumbria.

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Dum-Dum - 04-02-2012

Oh and for me its Cumbria 258 miles, Cornwal 278 miles so thatll be A TANK OF FUEL EACH WAY. Good thing it only costs £65 to fill up

a tank each way? wtf, theyre not that bad on a motorway run surely?

4WayDiablo Wrote:well cumbria is just winning, would it be at the aireys place or some campsite?

I will be either at mine or in a nearby field depending entirely on the amount of people Smile

top and bottom of the matter is that it won't be at a campsite.........

April Club Camping Meet - Matt - 04-02-2012

They are, did about 320 miles last night to 46l (on the fuel light) so yeah, they are that bad, that was at 80mph. Theres a hole in the fueling for 70mph but away from that theyer shocking, even book figure is only 45mpg and TBH i dont think it would see that.

Only a 55l tank but the light comes on at about 45L so never put much more than 45L in it. 45l x 133ppl = £60.

Currently averaging 28mpg but I love it.

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Hitchos - 04-02-2012

Dont know how much my tank holds so cant tell you how much it costs lol i tend to stop at 50 quid cause i refuse to put any more in lol

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Dum-Dum - 04-02-2012

Some tanks stretch with age though, had nearly 70l in a 306 before

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Niall - 04-02-2012

Dum, as said, if you want you can hop in with us for a little diesel money/quick reach around.

Re: April Club Camping Meet - Hitchos - 04-02-2012

Bloody hell, even my big heavy Octavia with a turbo can do 350-400 miles to £60, even does 300 with almost all town driving...

April Club Camping Meet - THE_Liam - 05-02-2012

I'm working until 3 that Saturday but I'll drive up after, it's only a couple of hours drive Smile
