Bonnet flew open going down the road, luckily it was only about 2 minutes down the road from my house, im just glad nothing was coming the other way as i did an emergency stop and ended up on the wrong side of the road. scared the shit out of me as its the last thing you expect to happen, the bonnet to suddenly smash into the screen

If you want buckets and harnesses I have a sparco recliner and a pair of harnesses. Youll need to find another bucket and a sub frame but I could do with selling them. PM me an offer if your interested.

One fiberglass bonnet found thanks to the '6 forum, now just to collect it, pay up for the new windscreen and call in a favor to get the dent in the roof fixed. Gutted for my overdraft

i managed to find someone on the gti6 forum who was selling a phase 1 fibreglass bonnet off his track car, but if your after fibreglass panels for phase 2/3 306, theres someone who makes them to order for £75, also on the gti6 forum

Is anybody going to be driving down to the xmas meet from around herefordshire or worcs? or failing that will there be any groups meeting along the motorway or anything? figure it would be fun to convoy it down with some other members.
that is aslong as i get the screen replaced, roof fixed and the new bonnet sorted in time!

I doubt Il be able to stay as Il hqve work early next morning, but if I've got the Dtub repaired by then I'm tempted also for a drive down

haha cheers mate. I have the screen sorted anyway, just waiting till payday next week to get it fitted. i also will have a fibreglass bonnet in the post.
Gotta strip all the rooflining and take the sunroof out this weekend and get the dent sorted :/

Sorry about the lack of updates, just waiting for payday next week, then its time for new bonnet and screen, new rear disc beam, fitting brembos and new wheels. maybe bucket seats and a full interior strip but Il see how it goes
On a good note though, the dented roof is getting sorted in the morning, I might remember to take pictures for anyone interested in sunroof removal and a little bit of panel beating
